Get a Library Card

What do I need to get a library card?

Library Cards: Library cards are available to and free to all, including visitors.

To get a card, you will need photo identification.

Minors: A parent or guardian’s signature is required to issue a library card to a patron under the age of 14. Children under the age of 8 must have a parent/guardian present to obtain a library card.

Teacher Card: Teachers employed by accredited schools within the library district service area may request a Teachers Card. Items checked out on a Teachers Card circulate for 6 weeks.

Replacement Card: There will be no charge for replacement library cards.

Temporary Card: To get a temporary card, fill out this form. You’ll get a 7-digit card number that you can use to check items out of the vending machine, place holds, and use Libby and Hoopla. Your temporary account will only last for 30 days, so stop by the library during that time with your physical ID to upgrade to a full account.
