NOTICE OF VACANCY

Wilkinson Public Library Board of Trustees

San Miguel County Public Library District #1 (Wilkinson Public Library) seeks applicants to fill a vacancy on its Board of Trustees. The new appointee will serve an unexpired term until December 31, 2030. Board members must reside within the San Miguel County Public Library District #1 service area.

 

Members of the Library Board are mandated by Colorado law to control Library funds, Library property, and Library expenditures. A full position description is available at www.telluridelibrary.org or at the first floor service desk of the library, 100 West Pacific Ave, Telluride, CO.

Applications may be submitted until July 9, 2026 at 5pm. Candidates will be invited to interviews by the Library Board of Trustees at their July 16, 2026 meeting and the San Miguel County Commissioners at their July 22, 2026 meeting. Appointment will be made by the San Miguel County Board of Commissioners.
